Detox Tomatillo-Avocado Salsa
INGREDIENTS:
• | 1 lb. | Green Tomatillos, husk removed and then rinsed |
• | 2 | Avocados, peeled and pit removed |
• | 4 | Serrano chiles, stem removed. If you want less spicy, then take out the seeds too |
• | 6 | Garlic cloves, peeled and roasted |
• | 1 | Fresh Cilantro bunch, stems removed |
• | To season | Sea Salt |
• | 5 | Limes |
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Using a blender, NutriBullet or food processor, blend the tomatillos (peeled and rinsed), the avocados, serrano peppers, roasted garlic, and fresh cilantro.
- Add the lime juice to your taste and season with sea salt.
- Use on tacos, veggies, proteins or any other healthy food choice that needs some boost of flavors, spices and detox support.
